February 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] said that it has repaid early 3.9 million levs ($2.6 million/2 million euro) of its loan from Societe Generale Expressbank.
Elana Agrocredit used funds from the sale of real estate to make the payment, the company said in a statement on Friday.
At the end of 2018, the remaining principal of the loan was 5.4 million levs, according to the company's annual financial statement.
Elana Agrocredit took out the 10 million levs loan in 2016 and has to fully repay it by 2024.
As at 13:15 CET on Monday, Elana Agrocredit shares traded 2.59% lower at 1.13 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
Elana Agrocredit offers financing to agricultural producers.
