September 4 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Hisarya municipality said on Wednesday that it has signed two water network reconstruction contracts worth a total of 5.1 million levs ($2.9 million/2.6 million euro) with a local consortium.
The contracts were signed with a consortium comprising two companies - Nedelchev Treid Expert and Artstroy, the municipality said in a notice.
The consortium was awarded the contracts in a tender opened in January which envisages the reconstruction and replacement of the water supply network in two villages on the territory of the municipality in central southern Bulgaria.
Local company Infrastroeji was ranked second in the tender. The tender commission removed construction companies Patengineering, Groma Hold and Terra Group from the tender procedure for failure to meet the requirements.
