September 2 (SeeNews) - All but one of the indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in the red on Friday, reversing Thursday's positive trend, stock exchange data showed.
Losses in Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB] and car battery manufacturer Monbat [BUL:MONB] weighed heavy on the blue-chip SOFIX, which lost 0.76% to 611.09 points. A day earlier, the SOFIX closed 0.56% higher.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria closed 7.41% cheaper at 2.00 levs in a turnover of 31,654 shares, while Monbat went down 3.14% to 4.94 levs, as 10,000 shares changed hands.
In the blue-chip gainers department, Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:CCB] led the pack, picking up 3.03% to 1.70 levs as just twenty shares were traded.
Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] generated the biggest daily turnover, of 312,156 levs, but closed 1.89% lower at 5.20 levs.
Total turnover on the Sofia bourse's main market fell to 1.8 million levs ($1.23 million/1.23 million euro) from 2.4 million levs on Thursday.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria's losses, coupled with a 6.25% drop in parcel delivery company Speedy [BUL:SPDY] to 105 levs, dragged the BGBX40 0.58% down to 141.69 points.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, lost 0.12% to 731.71 points.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was the only index to finish the trading session in positive territory, edging up 0.03% to 183.33 points.
