January 15 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange closed in negative territory on Tuesday, with First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:5F4] leading the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most traded and capitalised companies listed on the Sofia bourse, lost 0.44% to 565.56 points, after adding . 0.10% a day earlier. Its decline reflected losses in Fibank, drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] and financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA].
Fibank closed 4.55% lower at 3.15 levs ($1.83/1.61 euro), as 200 shares changed hands. Sopharma and Elana Agrocredit fell 0.90% and 0.88%, respectively.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares, closed 0.29% lower at 111.58 points, after falling 0.09% on Monday.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts listed on both the regulated market and the BaSE Alternative Market of the Sofia bourse, closed at 111.96 points, compared to 120.33 points on Monday.
The biggest gainer on the Bulgarian bourse on Tuesday was aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet [BUL:6AM], which appreciated 4.55% to 11.50 levs in a volume of just 31 shares.
