September 8 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA] increased its stake in its subsidiary Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] to 85% from 81.3%, Sopharma Trading said on Thursday.
Following the deal, Sopharma AD holds 29.1 million shares in the unit, Sopharma Trading said in a short bourse filing.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Sopharma Trading has reported a consolidated net profit of 15.8 million levs ($8.06 million/8.08 million euro) in the first half of 2022, up from 6.19 million levs in the same period of 2021.
By 1553 CEST on Thursday, Sopharma Trading's shares traded 0.71% lower at 5.56 levs on the Sofia bourse.
In August, Sopharma reached direct ownership of 35.48% in another subsidiary, Sopharma Properties REIT [BUL:SFI] in a buyout offer.
