July 9 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian brewer Boliarka VT said that its net loss narrowed to 366,000 levs ($210,000 levs/187,000 euro) in 2018 from 603,000 levs the year before, despite the fact that the company booked lower revenue.
Boliarka VT's operating revenue fell to 14.45 million levs last year from 15.89 million levs in 2017, the company said in an interim financial statement.
Operating expenses decreased to 14.80 million levs in 2018 from 16.44 million levs in 2017, due to a decline in expenses for materials and hired services.
The company's assets rose to 8.51 million levs at the end of 2018 from 7.77 million levs a year earlier.
Boliarka VT, established in 1892, is the fourth largest brewer in the country, according to data published by the the Union of Brewers in Bulgaria in 2018.
