January 21 (SeeNews) - The indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange closed mixed on Monday, as the blue-chip SOFIX index recorded a slim gain for a third session in a row, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX, which tracks the 15 most traded and capitalised companies listed on the Sofia bourse, edged up 0.08% to 567.51 points, marking its largest winning streak since December 4. Its rise reflected gains in diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR], resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] and Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6].
Stara Planina Hold closed 3.25% higher at 6.35 levs ($3.69/3.25 euro). Albena and Advance Terrafund rose 1.35% and 1.03%, respectively.
Software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] and construction company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] fell most among the blue chips, closing 1.71% and 1.52% lower, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, ended the session 0.17% lower at 111.56 points, after climbing 0.13% on Friday.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts listed on both the regulated market and the BaSE Alternative Market of the Sofia bourse, closed at 120.33 points, as compared to 120.21 points on Friday.
Total trading turnover rose to 3.932 million levs ($2.3 million/2.0 million euro) on Monday from 117,800 levs on Friday.
