September 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency said on Monday that it has launched a 1.75 million levs ($864,834/894,761 euro) tender for a project for technical design of road repairs in central Bulgaria, including at the key Shipka mountain pass, which connects the northern and southern parts of the country.
The tender calls for the development of a technical design for the overhaul of 87 kilometres of roads in the regions of Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo, the government agency said in a statement.
The project is divided into five lots with indicative values of 219,400 levs, 296,100 lev, 632,620 levs, 161 200 levs and 436 560 levs, respectively, excluding value added tax (VAT).
Potential bidders face October 31 deadline to submit offers.
