May 20 (SeeNews) - Romanian stock indices fell on Monday in lower turnover, Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) data showed.
The total equity turnover of the BVB fell to 16.5 million lei ($3.9 million/3.5 million euro) on Monday compared to 83 million lei on Friday. Turnover on Friday was boosted by a block deal with Cemacon [BSE:CEON] shares worth 49.7 million lei.
Blue-chip lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] stood to 2.1150 lei in Friday's largest turnover of 5.09 million lei.
Oil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE: SNP] rose 0.13% to 0.3810 lei in the day's second largest turnover, of 3.58 million lei.
Financial group BRD Societe Generale [BSE:BRD] ended 1.96% lower to 10.98 lei in the third largest trading turnover during the session, of 2.32 million lei.
