SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 21 (SeeNews) – UniCredit Bank Mostar [SAJ:ZGBMR], a unit of Italy's UniCredit Group, said its net profit rose by 20.1% year-on-year to 69.1 million marka ($39.2 million/35.4 million euro) in the first half of 2019.
First-half net interest income decreased by 2.6% to 80.5 million marka, while net fee and commission income rose to 44.1 million marka from 42.1 million marka, the bank said in a statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange last week.
At the end of June, the net assets of UniCredit Bank Mostar totalled 7.4 billion marka, compared to 7.3 billion marka at the end of 2018.
UniCredit Bank Mostar is based in the Federation, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia. UniCredit Group has another bank in Bosnia, UniCredit Bank Banja Luka, headquartered in the other entity - the Serb Republic.
