SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), November 22 (SeeNews) – Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) said it has started preparing the documents for the final stage of a tender to select a partner to build a 450 megawatt unit at the Tuzla thermal power plant (TPP).
Based on negotiations with the shortlisted candidates - Japan’s Hitachi and a Chinese consortium of Gezhouba Group and Guandong Electric Power Design Institute - EPBiH has begun preparing the tender documents for the third stage, during which the best binding offer will be chosen, it said in a statement on its website on Thursday.
The construction of the TPP's seventh unit is estimated to cost 1.6 billion marka ($1.1 billion/818 million euro).
