June 22 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Bosnia's Serb Republic totalled 94 in May, up 20.5% on the year, the entity's statistical office said on Wednesday.
The number of permits issued for residential and non-residential buildings rose by 30.6% in annual terms to 81 in May, whereas the number of permits for civil engineering projects fell by 18.7% to 13, the Institute of Statistics of the Serb Republic said in a monthly report.
The number of permits issued for dwellings dropped by 26.2% in annual terms to 259 in May.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
