August 5 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Nasa Banka [BANJ:PIBB] said on Friday it plans to offer to investors a new share issue amounting to 4.225 million marka ($2.2 million/2.16 million euro) after an attempt to increase its equity capital failed earlier this year.
The bank intends to issue 4,225,000 ordinary shares of 1 marka in par value each in the offering, it said in a bourse filing.
Nasa Banka's shareholders will vote on the proposed capital increase at a meeting scheduled for August 22.
Last week, Nasa Banka said that a procedure to raise its capital by 4.225 million marka has failed as no investor subscribed for its issue of new shares.
In January, Nasa Banka increased its capital by 2 million marka, to 25.8 million marka, by issuing 2 million new ordinary shares of 1 marka in par value each.
The bank's shares have not traded on the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) in the past year.
