April 12 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's central bank said it expects average annual inflation for this year to be approximately 4.2% this year, revising its previous forecast of 5.8% inflation made in December.
In 2025, inflation is expected to average around 3.6%, Bosnia's central banks said in a notice earlier this week, citing data collected in a March survey.
The central bank stated that the optimistic outlook on inflation trends for 2024 and 2025 reflects positive momentum in the overall economy.
Bosnia's central bank conducts the survey with representatives of the financial, banking and insurance sector on a quarterly basis.
Consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 2.1% on the year in February, following an annual increase of 2.0% in January, according to the latest data by the country's statistical office.
