June 27 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia rose 14.4% on the year in May, after an annual increase of 13.2% in April, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
In May, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 22.7% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities went up 11.3%, and transport prices surged by 30.3%, the statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices went up 1.1% in May, following a 4.2% increase in April.
Last year, consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 2.0%, after a drop of 1% in 2020.
