September 13 (SeeNews) - Bosnian company Heez Aluminij will invest 35 million marka ($18.2 million/17.9 million euro) in the construction of a factory for the extrusion, electrostatic painting and machine processing of aluminum profiles, local media reported.
The factory, which will be built in Brcko, will employ 100 people, news provider Ekapija reported last week.
Heez Aluminij has contracted local construction company Baupartner to build the factory.
Heez Aluminij is owned by local engineering company Heez Transport, local news agency Biznis Info reported on Monday.
In December 2021, the government of the Brcko District signed an agreement with Tuzla-based Heez Aluminij for the use of public property to build the factory. Under the agreement, the company has committed to investing 20 million marka in the construction of the factory within a five-year period.
Bosnia and Herzegovina comprises two autonomous entities - the Federation and the Serb Republic. Brcko is a self-governing administrative unit in northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina.
