October 11 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's gross domestic product (GDP) growth slowed to a real 2.6% in the second quarter of 2019, from a revised 2.8% in the preceding quarter, the country's statistical office said.
Seasonally adjusted GDP increased by 1.0% in April-June compared to the previous quarter, the statistical office said in a flash estimate on Thursday.
In the second quarter of 2018 the country's GDP grew by a revised 3.9% year-on-year in real terms.
The largest real growth of the gross value added in the second quarter of 2019 was recorded in the information and communications sector, the statistical office said.
The statistical office told SeeNews in an email it has revised all GDP data for the period prior to Q2 2019, after changing the reference year to 2015 from the previously used 2010.
Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of two autonomous entities - the Serb Republic and the Federation.
