July 25 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's economy expanded by a real 3.62% last year, compared to 3.07% growth in 2017, the country's statistical office said.
In nominal terms, Bosnia's gross domestic product (GDP) totalled 33.4 billion marka ($19 billion/17.1 billion euro) and was 6.5% higher compared to the 2017 level, the Statistical agency of Bosnia said in a statement on Tuesday.
The largest real growth of gross value added in 2018 was recorded in the sector of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in the agriculture, forestry and fishing sector.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country of some 3.5 million people. It is made of two autonomous entities - the Federation and the Serb Republic.
