June 27 (SeeNews) - The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation stood at 534 GWh in May, up from 519 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
Electricity imports fell 58% on the year to 23 GWh in May, while exports fell to 180 GWh from 186 GWh, the entity's statistical office said.
The net electricity output of hydro power plants rose to 210 GWh in May, from 200 GWh in the same month of 2021, while the output of thermal power plants rose to 306 GWh from 292 GWh.
The Federation's net electricity output in May was 25% lower than in April.
Month-on-month, the Federation's electricity imports fell 8.7% in May, while exports rose 68%.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
