February 27 (SeeNews) - The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation rose to 757 GWh in January from 676 GWh in the same month of 2023, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Electricity imports reached 99 GWh last month from 56 GWh in January 2023, while exports increased to 141 GWh from 131 GWh, the entity's statistical office said in a monthly report.
The net electricity output of hydropower plants fell to 347 GWh in January from 410 GWh in January 2023, while the output of thermal power plants rose to 363 GWh from 238 GWh.
On a monthly comparison basis, net electricity production in January went up 4.4%. Imports fell 17.5%, while exports declined 13% in January.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
