March 28 (SeeNews) - The industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation fell by 8.0% on the year in January, following a revised drop of 14% in December, the federal statistical office said.
Industrial sales on the non-domestic market dropped 13.2% year-on-year in January while sales on the domestic market stagnated, according to a monthly report released by the Federation's statistical office earlier this month.
In January, sales of non-durable consumer goods increased by 11.3%, sales of capital goods went up 4.3%, while sales of intermediate goods dropped by 18.5% on an annual comparison basis. Energy sales decreased by 9.9% and sales of durable consumer goods went down 4.1%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's industrial sales rose 3.7% in January, after a revised decline of 2.4% in December.
The industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation fell by 10.8% on the year in 2023, the same office has said earlier.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
