SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), October 7 (SeeNews) – The energy ministry of Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation said on Tuesday that the tender for a consultant to advise the entity with regards to the planned award of a concession for oil and gas exploration has failed as all of the received bids were deemed unacceptable.
The energy ministry said in a notice it received four bids in the tender, which was canceled on September 30.
Last month, the ministry extended the bid deadline until September 15. It was initially set to expire on September 8.
In August, the entity's government said it has approved extending until November 3, 2015 a memorandum of understanding that has been signed with a unit of Anglo-Dutch major Shell Exploration Company on exploration of oil and gas reserves.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
