August 20 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia's Federation rose 1.3% year-on-year to 767 in the second quarter of 2019, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Of the total number of permits issued in the March-June period, 587 covered buildings, down 5.5%, and 180 were for civil engineering works, up 32.4%, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.
Based on the number of permits, planned dwellings numbered 851, down 6.7% compared to the second quarter of 2018.
The number of building permits issued in Bosnia's Federation in the first half of 2019 rose 8% year-on-year.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
