March 7 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda HZHB [SAJ:JPEMR] said it booked a net profit of 52.4 million marka ($29.2 million/26.8 million euro) in 2023 after recording a net loss of 81.1 million marka a year earlier.
The company's total revenue rose 10.4% year-on-year to nearly 465 million marka in 2023, while operating costs decreased by 17.9% to 412.5 million marka, the company said in a financial statement earlier this week.
The company's shares last traded on the Sarajevo bourse on March 5, when they closed flat at 24 marka.
Elektroprivreda HZHB is the smallest of the three Bosnian state-owned power utilities. It is based in the Federation entity.
Bosnia's largest power utility is Elektroprivreda BiH, also based in the Federation, which together with the Serb Republic entity forms Bosnia and Herzegovina. Elektroprivreda RS is the power utility of the Serb Republic.
