SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), May 8 (SeeNews) – Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda HZHB [SAJ:JPEMR] said its net profit soared to 16.6 million marka ($9.5 million/8.5 million euro) in 2018, from 237,441 marka a year earlier.
Operating income increased 51.1% year-on-year to 442 million marka in 2018, while operating costs rose 37.5% to 416.2 million marka, the company said in a filing to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) earlier this week.
Elektroprivreda HZHB, the smallest of the three Bosnian state-owned power utilities, is based in the Federation entity, which together with the Serb Republic forms Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bosnia's largest power utility is Elektroprivreda BiH, also based in the Federation. Elektroprivreda RS is the power utility of the Serb Republic.
