March 29 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power distribution company Elektrokrajina [BANJ:EKBL-R-A] said on Friday it plans to issue 10 million marka ($5.5 million/5.1 million euro) worth of five-year notes.
The company plans to offer to investors 10,000 notes at a price of 1,000 marka each, it said in a filing with the Banja Luka bourse.
The securities will carry a fixed annual interest rate of 4%, paid semiannually.
Elektrokrajina's shareholders will vote on the proposal at a meeting on April 16.
Elektrokrajina's shares last traded on the BLSE on March 25, when they closed 2.50% higher at 0.123 marka.
Elektrokrajina is a unit of Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS), the power utility company of Bosnia's Serb Republic entity.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
