SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), October 21 (SeeNews) – Bosnia and Herzegovina's consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.3% year-on-year in September, after rising at the same rate a month earlier, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages added 0.7% in September, prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco increased by 6% and prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels rose by 1.9%, the statistical office said in a statement.
Prices of healthcare services increased by 0.5% in September, transport prices edged down 0.4%, prices in the sector of services at restaurants and hotels grew 1.2%, whereas prices in education added 0.5%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Bosnia's consumer prices increased by 0.5% in September, after falling by 0.3% in August.
Bosnia's consumer prices grew 0.7% year-on-year in January-September.
