September 14 (SeeNews) - Passengers at Bosnia and Herzegovina's four international airports totalled 316,743 in August, some 38.6% up compared with 228,465 in the same month a year earlier, Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate said on Wednesday.
The busiest airport in August was the Sarajevo International Airport, which handled 217,253 passengers, followed by the Tuzla International Airport with 51,426 passengers, the Civil Aviation Directorate said in a statement.
Next came the Banja Luka-based airport with 43,441 passengers and the Mostar airport with 4,623 passengers in August.
Total operations at Bosnia's four international airports rose to 2,824 in August 2022 from 2,309 in August 2021.
Passengers at Bosnia's four international airports totalled 1.2 million in 2021, up by 131.94% compared with 2020.
