October 11 (SeeNews) - The Bosnian unit of Serbian logistics company Nelt Group has opened on October 10 a 4 million euro ($4.4 million) warehouse in East Sarajevo, local media reported on Friday.
The infrastructure of Nelt Bosnia now comprises 3,400 square metres of office space and more than 11,000 square metres of storage space, business news portal eKapija.com reported.
"Investing in new capacities is a result of the company's organic growth and the needs of the market and our clients," eKapija.com quoted the CEO of Nelt's Bosnian arm, Goran Cerovina, as saying.
Nelt Bosnia employed 40 new workers and increased its revenue by 28% in the last two years, according to the media report.
Nelt was founded in Serbia in 1992 as a company with a core activity focused on trade. Today, Nelt Group runs units in Bosnia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Angola, Mozambique and Zambia. The group employs some 4,000 people.
East Sarajevo is a town in the Serb Republic, one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
