May 29 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's government said it has approved plans to take an 11.8 million euro ($13.1 million) grant from the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) for the construction of the Tarcin - Ivan tunnel motorway section, part of European transport corridor Vc.
The 4.9-kilometre section includes two bridges, as the works will be conducted by road company Autoceste FBiH, the government said in a press release on Thursday.
The total costs for the project amount to 58.7 million euro. Bosnia will allocate 6.5 million euro to the project.
Corridor Vc has a total length of 700 km and connects the port of Ploce in Croatia with Budapest in Hungary via Bosnia. Its length in Bosnia is some 340 km.
