January 19 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange closed Wednesday's session higher with oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] leading the blue-chip winners, bourse data showed.
NIS' shares rose 0.98% to a closing price of 620 dinars on Wednesday, generating a turnover of 342,860 dinars.
At the other end, construction company Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] paced the blue-chip decliners as its shares closed down 0.35% at 1,142 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.12% at 861.71 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.06% at 1,782.63.
The total trading turnover on the bourse went down to 735,024 dinars ($7,100/6,200 euro) on Wednesday from 1.3 million dinars generated on Tuesday.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 209,828 dinars.
