June 2 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange indices closed up for a fifth consecutive day on Thursday, as oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] gained most, bourse data showed.
NIS' shares rose 2.05% to 596 dinars, as 2,596 of them changed hands, Belgrade Stock Exchange data showed. Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] was the most liquid company on the bourse on Thursday, generating a turnover of 7.1 million dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.35% at 835.67 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.40% at 1,680.09.
The total trading turnover on the bourse went up to 32.8 million dinars ($300,200/279,300 euro) on Thursday from 18.1 million dinars generated on Wednesday as 111 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 21.3 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 645,940 dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Thursday.
