April 30 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade bourse closed 0.29% higher at 1,005.15 points on Tuesday, boosted by gains in oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS], bourse data showed.
NIS closed 1.41% higher at 862 dinars in a volume of 40 shares.
At the other end, civil engineering group Energoprojekt Holding [BEL:ENHL] was the only blue-chip loser on Tuesday, shedding 6.02% to 375 dinars.
Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] generated the day's largest turnover. A total of fourteen Messer shares changed hands in a turnover of 350,000 dinars. Messer closed flat at 25,000 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index also rose, closing 0.13% higher at 2,208.46 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse rose to 8.4 million dinars ($76,800/71,400 euro) on Tuesday from 5.2 million dinars on Monday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 7.4 million dinars of Tuesday's turnover.
The Belgrade bourse will be closed on May 1 and May 2 due to International Labour Day and on May 3 and May 6 due to Orthodox Easter.
