In 2017, Minsk-based MAZ signed a contract with the Serbian government for joint production of fire engines based on a MAZ chassis for the needs of Serbia.
A total of 14 fire engines have been produced by MAZ under the project so far, while a further 19 will be manufactured until March 2019, the embassy said.
Moreover, MAZ representatives discussed a potential project for the assembly of gas-fired buses in Serbia, as well as supply of Belarusian-made trolley buses.
