May 22 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Wednesday, with shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] leading the blue-chip gainers.
Atlantska's shares ended 3.73% higher at 306 kuna.
Diversified holding Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its shares closed 3.2% lower at 9.20 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue chips on the ZSE on Wednesday - 2.1 million kuna.
The turnover was also boosted by a 2.0 million kuna block deal in shares of Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS].
ZSE's total trading turnover decreased to 11.5 million kuna ($1.7 million/1.5 million euro), from 18.8 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX rose 0.15% to 1,861.00 after advancing 0.26% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased 0.06% to 1,092.86 after adding 0.39% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.02% to 112.9904.
