May 14 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Tuesday, with shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] leading the blue-chip gainers for a second straight session, bourse data showed.
Atlantska Plovidba ended 4.03% higher at 310 kuna. On Monday, Atlantska Plovidba paced the blue-chip gainers, as its shares closed 5.3% higher at 298 kuna.
Croatia's shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] paced the blue-chip losers, as its shares closed 3.39% lower at 5.70 kuna.
Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP], generated the highest trading turnover on the ZSE on Tuesday - 4.3 million kuna.
Valamar said last week it would distribute a dividend of 1 kuna per share this year, up 0.1 kuna on last year's dividend payout.
Electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] also generated a considerable turnover through a block transaction - 3.3 million kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover fell slightly to 13.9 million kuna ($2.1 million/1.9 million euro), from 14.2 million kuna on Monday.
The 25-share benchmark share index CROBEX edged up 0.02% to 1,840.89 after edging down by the same rate on Monday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed unchanged at 1,087.71 after dropping 0.12% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.01% to 113.0990.
