March 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian investment company Alpha Bulgaria [BUL:ALFB] said it raised 7.8 million levs ($4.4 million/4 million euro) through an exercise of warrants.
Local real estate management firm Theresien Hausverwaltung subscribed for a total of 7.8 million new company shares between February 23 and March 11, Alpha Bulgaria said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
The company offered for subscription to its warrant holders up to 177.75 million new voting shares at an issue price equal to their par value of 1 lev apiece.
Alpha Bulgaria issued 194.89 million warrants in total, each allowing its owner to subscribe for one company share at a price of 1 lev within five years. The company currently has 169.95 million unexercised warrants.
Shares in Alpha Bulgaria last traded at 1.84 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
