August 12 (SeeNews) - Household appliances maker Alfa plam [BEL:ALFA] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 141 Alfa plam shares changed hands in a turnover of 118,538 dinars. Alfa plam closed down 0.06% at 840 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.37% lower at 743.43 points.
Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price grew 0.01% to 12,001 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.33% to 1,565.16.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 785.9 million dinars ($7.5 million/6.7 million euro) on Monday, up from Friday's 13.3 million dinars, as 39 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 2.3 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 718.1 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock market on Monday.
