August 3 (SeeNews) - Albania's finance ministry sold about 11.2 billion leks ($97.6 million/95.9 million euro) worth of government securities at two auctions held on August 2, data by the country's central bank shows.
The finance ministry sold 10 billion leks worth of one-year Treasury bills that will mature on August 3, 2023, the data shows. Some 2.25 billion leks of the offer was reserved for the country's central bank.
The finance ministry also sold 1.2 billion leks worth of six-month government securities with a maturity date of February 2, 2023. Some 300 million leks of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
