May 29 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia plans to resume flights from the airports of Nis and Kraljevo in June, it said on Friday.
Air Serbia will recommence the operation of flights from Nis to Frankfurt and Nuremberg on June 16, and from Kraljevo to Vienna on June 30, the flag carrier said in a statement.
The flights from Nis to Hannover, Salzburg and Tivat will be relaunched on July 1.
Air Serbia restarted operating flights to London, Frankfurt, Vienna, and Zurich from Belgrade on May 18.
The Serbian government closed on March 19 the airports in Belgrade, Nis and Kraljevo for commercial flights in order to tackle the coronavirus outbreak. Air Serbia suspended all passenger flights as part of the measures to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection on March 20.
