June 27 (SeeNews) - Chemicals trader Afer Bulgaria said that its net profit fell to 6.0 million levs ($3.5 million/3.1 million euro) in 2018 from 6.7 million levs in 2017, following a decrease in revenue.
Afer Bulgaria's sales fell to 438.0 million levs last year from 483.1 million levs in 2017, the company said in an annual financial statement.
Cost of goods sold dropped to 428.4 million levs in 2018 from 473.8 million levs the year before.
Selling and distribution expenses rose to 2.6 million levs from 1.8 million levs.
The company's assets increased to 47.8 million levs at the end of 2018 from 42.7 million levs a year earlier.
Afer Bulgaria is the main distributor of local nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers producer Agropolychim.
