August 8 (SeeNews) - Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 4,404 Aerodrom shares changed hands in a turnover of 3.7 million dinars. Aerodrom closed down 0.36% at 842 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.16% higher at 742.05 points.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price grew 1.03% to 689 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, grew 0.68% to 1,568.29.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 765 million dinars ($7.3 million/6.5 million euro) on Thursday, up from Wednesday's 97.2 million dinars, as 77 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 4.5 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 752 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock market on Thursday.
