November 22 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 18,342 of Aerodrom's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 31.4 million dinars. The company closed up 0.29% at 1,710 dinars.
Civil engineering company Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange as its share price rose 4.3% to 679 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.52% to 744.97 points on Thursday. The index fell 0.08% on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, grew 0.38% to 1,566.60 points on Thursday, after rising 1.15% on Wednesday.
Industrial chemicals maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] paced the blue-chip decliners' list, as its share price fell 0.46% to 10,750 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 36.95 million dinars ($355,386/311,541 euro) on Thursday from 8.5 million dinars on Wednesday, as 169 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 131,372 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 313.8 million dinars to the total turnover of 350.7 million dinars on the stock exchange.
