April 23 (SeeNews) - Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 4,881 Aerodrom shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 3.9 million dinars. Aerodrom lost 3.70% and closed at 806 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.90% lower at 741.63 points.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 0.81% to 746 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.52% at 1,590.21.
The total turnover on the bourse decreased to 631.2 million dinars ($6.0 million/5.3 million euro) on Tuesday from 1.213 billion dinars on Monday, as 316 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 46.8 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 567.2 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock market on Tuesday.
