January 10 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday as indices fell, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,171 of Aerodrom shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.2 million dinars. Aerodrom closed at 1,100 dinars, down by 2.65%.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, closed 0.37% lower at 692.40 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, dropped 0.32% to 1,507.05 points.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 542.6 million dinars ($5.2 million/4.5 million euro) on Thursday from 3.5 million dinars on Wednesday, as 66 transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in turnover of 404,872 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 539.3 million dinars to the total turnover.
