January 16 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment fund Agista said it has supported local medical network Centrokinetic in buying two clinics in Brasov and opening a new clinic in Bucharest.
This expansion is part of Centrokinetic's growth plan, which aims to establish a network of at least 10 clinics across Romania within the next four years, Agista said in a press release on Monday.
Agista owns over 30% of Centrokinetic.
Following these transactions, the Centrokinetic's network expands to seven units, Agista said. Centrokinetic will now focus on integration, by improving medical processes and
equipment and strengthening its team by adding specialized recovery doctors to its network.
Established in 2016, Centrokinetic currently employs a team of 110 doctors and therapists. In 2022, the company booked a turnover of over 4.5 million euro ($4.9 million) and EBITDA of 600,000 euro, according to its latest financial results available.
Agista is an investment fund launched by the Romanian entrepreneurial group Impetum. It invests in various sectors, focusing on the IT&C, healthcare, recycling, and agritech industries.
