Editorial

As before, September 2007 issue of TRENDS publication presents data series for the second quarter and the first eight months of 2007. External trade time series has been recalculated on the basis of the succeeding year (Ø2006=100), since the data are now available.

We announce that time series unemployed from the chapter EMPLOYMENT has become long enough so that the trend-cycle component can be presented from this issue on.

We recommend the special topics of this issue to our readers and users of the data. The content is an analytical overview of the data on labor force of Republic of Serbia. The data are collected and published by Republic Statistical Office, provided by its own statistical surveys or from the sources of other state institutions.
