In the period of January - September 2008, the construction enterprises from the Republic of Macedonia have completed construction works abroad for 33.9% less than the same period last year
According the data from the State Statistical Office in the mentioned period, the construction enterprises from the Republic of Macedonia have completed construction works abroad in total of 2 245 890 thousand denars.
This decrease is due to the decreased amount of completed construction works in Croatia, Serbia, Monte Negro, Russia and Ukraine, while in other countries there is increased amount of completed works, for instance in Albania for 125.7% and Bulgaria for 165.0%.
The total value of contracted construction works abroad in the period of January - September 2008 is 4 872 640 thousand denars, that is for 2.4% more compared with the same period from last year.
