VISITS TO SELECTED TOURIST SIGHTS, MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES, SWIMMING FACILITIES, CASINOS AND GAMING SALONS AND NUMBER OF THEIR OPENING DAYS, Slovenia, 3RD QUARTER 2008

- In the third quarter of 2008, 1,018,044 people visited selected natural, cultural and historical tourist sights in Slovenia; 61.3% of them were foreign visitors.

- Most visits were recorded in the Postojna Cave (261,001), the Bled Castle Museum (105,714), ZOO Ljubljana (68,339), and the Virtual Museum and Viewing Tower at the Ljubljana Castle (66,611).

- There were 2,439,024 visits to swimming facilities, of these 1,596,880 visits to thermal baths.

- Of 1,198,483 people visiting casinos and gaming salons, 74.7% were foreigners.
