The European Union Council of Ministers will accept Montenegro’s application for EU membership in April, says Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek. At a joint press conference with Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Đukanović, Topolanek, whose country is currently presiding over the EU, also announced continued liberalization of the visa regime with Montenegro, with a possible spot on the white Schengen list by the end of the year.
